this opera is set in an abandoned industrial warehouse in a post-apocalyptic world, where the Britons and Saxons are at war. Both groups of people are adjusting to the world using what they can scavenge to dress and arm themselves
God Effigies
As our production was taking place in a post-apocalyptic world and the Saxon people use just found objects we decided to use old and broken mannequin heads as representations for the 3 Gods mentioned in the play; Freya, Thor, and Woden. I took on distressing and making Thor, as well as adding additional pieces to and fixing all the effigies.
